Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Thank you to Randy and Angel Tyson, our Altar Server Coordinators for hosting a wonderful, fun-filled, outdoor gathering for our past, present, and future altar servers last weekend. New server training will be provided in the near future.

Thank you to Jeannette Walters who is so helpful every weekend cleaning and tidying the parish hall building in between the Masses. When you see her please say THANK YOU!

Also congratulations are due to the winners of our awards for graduating high school seniors: Trinity Wenk won the Ladies Auxiliary award; Jillian Sasso won the Father Leo Zonneveld award; Maricruz Hernandez won the Father Maurice du Castillon award; and Camille Klemann won the Knights of Columbus award. Thank you to the Knights of Columbus and the Ladies Auxiliary for supporting our graduates with such generosity.

The Vacation Bible School is still going on as I write this; we hope to have an update next weekend.

Epiphany Catholic School is looking for people interested in several part-time positions: a Resource teacher, a Spanish teacher, a Science teacher, a Physical Education teacher, Extended Day Care assistants (AM and PM) and bus drivers (AM and PM). If you are interested, please email your resume to : office@epiphanycatholicschool.org. The salary is negotiable, and the applicant must be VIRTUS – compliant (meeting diocesan requirements for child safety.) Please contact Mary Leslie at 540-825-9017 for more information.

Please register for our faith formation classes. For children, CCD is offered Kindergarten through 12 grade; for adults we have RCIA in English and RICA for Spanish speakers. We will start up classes August 23, in one form or another, to support the spiritual health and growth for all our parishioners.

Our new ministry schedule will be coming out by August 3rd. Please watch for emails from Ministry Scheduler Pro (MSP) for updating your preferences for serving at the Masses scheduled for August and September.

We are grateful to our parishioners who are able to continue to support the parish during this time as we still have all of our payroll expenses. Thanks to your generosity, we are up to about 50% of our usual income. If you can help us get closer to reaching our budget, it would help us very much.

Shalom,

Fr. Kevin
