St. Joseph's Table Update

Please note: all volunteers must have completed their volunteer paperwork with the rectory office and be VIRTUS compliant before working.

SJT hours for drop off of perishable food and monetary donations: 3:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and 9:30 on Saturdays.

Need of volunteers: If interested and available, please call Terri (540)295-0411 and leave a message. Teens are welcome to earn community service hours for Confirmation. (Note that a lot of PBCC parishioners have volunteered for Wednesday thus it is no longer listed)

Bi-lingual team member(s) who is(are) able to reach out to the community to make phone calls in Spanish on Saturdays at the SJT location.

Volunteers Fridays: we are looking for strong and able people to carry boxes, 10:30ish - 11:45ish to the pantry. SJT receives about 55 boxes of food that need to be sorted and shelved. A team of 5 would be ideal.

Volunteers on Saturdays are needed from 10:00 - noon. This is the time when the clients come to pick up food.

SJT is in need of perishable and non-perishable food items. Non-perishable items: Laundry Soap, Dryer sheets, Diapers (all sizes) and wipes, toilet paper, body soap, shampoo, dishwashing liquid.

Perishable food: Please do not put perishable items on the SJT bin in the foyer.
